Van Riet Lowe (M61) is a connection road from Three Rivers, Vereeniging to the Redan-offramp, which provide access to the R59 Highway. This road runs parallel to the Vereeniging-Germiston railway line.

For many years this road and the surrounding area is not maintained at all.

The proposed project would entail proper maintenance of the road and the surrounding area.
